GIUNGLA (Emanuela Drei) is an Italian musician, producer and sound designer based in Milan. Her work brings together songwriting, sound and performance, blending guitar with electronic experimentation and a strong DIY approach.
She has performed across Europe and North America, sharing stages with artists including The xx, Foals, Grimes, Franz Ferdinand and Battles, and appearing at numerous festivals.
Alongside her solo work, she collaborates with artists across recording, live performance and music production.
She also works in sound design, music supervision and audio production while hosting the monthly radio show Unguided Tour w/ GIUNGLA on Radio Raheem.
In recent years, her work has expanded into artist residencies, site-specific performances, and original scores for silent films and archival material.
Her latest self-produced album, Distractions, was released in November 2024 via Factory Flaws.
She is currently working on new music and other ongoing collaborations.
